Help control your cost with scholarships
At Strayer, we work hard to offer a variety of scholarships – so you can make the most of savings on your degree and control costs. We’re here to help you understand what you may be able to save.
Do you know a Strayer student, graduate or faculty member? Ask them about our Referral Scholarship. If you register for an eligible Strayer program, meet all eligibility requirements and maintain good academic standing, a referral can save you $500 on tuition.
If you’re a Strayer University bachelor’s graduate ready to pursue a master’s degree, our Alumni Scholarship can save you $4,000. All you need to do is register for an eligible Strayer graduate program, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater and meet eligibility requirements. Combine this scholarship with our Graduation Fund to save even more.

Frequently asked questions
All of your exams, tests and assignments are completed online. You are welcome to use the computers on campus, where available, to finish your work or take tests.
You’ll use our online course room, Blackboard, for submitting assignments and viewing course content. Classes are 11 weeks long, and each week your work will be due in Blackboard by Sunday at midnight. You can access Blackboard through your student portal, iCampus.
Depending on the class, there are multiple textbook formats. Some are electronic only with the option of print on demand for an extra fee. Some classes just have a textbook, while others require additional materials.
Transfer Credit
Easy as 1, 2, 3
Submit your application, and an admissions officer will contact you to discuss your transfer credit options.
Contact former schools to have your official transcripts sent to the Strayer registrar’s office, or see if Strayer can do so on your behalf.
Strayer will review your transcript, and your admissions officer will contact you as soon as possible with a list of approved credits.
